LAYERED COLLECTION
Joaquin Salim
Description
In El pequeño, oversized text fragments intersect with cropped images and color bars, blurring the boundary between commercial language and visual memory. The collage captures the residue of advertising culture, where even a small word or slogan carries unexpected resonance. Salim transforms these modest remnants into a layered meditation on scale, value, and the overlooked details that shape collective memory.
